School Tours Through November 5

Funmaze20140815 28318 65sxow
Risser-Marvel has been hosting school tours for more than 25 years. Students will listen to a "Pumpkin Talk" by Farmer Greg. Greg will educate them about the many unique pumpkins, gourds & squash grown on the farm. The talk is geared for preschool through third grade. Students will also get to experience a hayride, explore a mini corn maze, and pick their own pumpkin. Homeschoolers welcome.  We prefer that there be at least 10 children in a group.  Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your start time so that we may begin on time.

Call 717-838-1438 or email tina@rissermarvel.com now to book a time from September 27 - November 5, students (and siblings ages 2 and up)- $6, parents, teachers and aides free.

This option is only available on weekdays before 3pm. This option is NOT available Columbus Day.

We can also gear the talk for older students and talk about the pumpkin plant itself.

Bring your older students out to the maze to learn about plant growth and teamwork.

Our Pet Policy

We love pets, but please do not bring your pets to the farm. We ask this for their safety as well as that of others. It is also a PA General Food Law.

For safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the market, the fields, the corn maze, on hayrides and in the PYO patch.
